Abstract
Kant ve Levinas etik görüşleri söz konusu edildiğinde ciddi bir analizi hak etmektedirler. Bu çalışmada böyle bir çabayı kendisine özgü bir bağlamda gündeme getiren Critchley’in görüşlerini eleştirel bir şekilde incelemek ve zengin bir felsefi zeminde tartışmaya açmak hedeflenmektedir. Etik üzerine yürüttüğü çalışmalarla bilinen Critchley, eyleme neden olan şey ister Kant’ın felsefesinde olduğu gibi kişinin kendi yetileri isterse de Levinas’ın görüşlerinde olduğu gibi dışsal bir güç olsun ilgili ahlaki talebin onaylamasıyla başlayan ve öznenin gerilimine işaret eden etik bir deneyimden söz etmektedir. Bu görüşün benzer biçimlerinin ilgili filozoflarda da bulunduğunu iddia eden Critchley’in bu iddialarını tanıtmak ve eleştirel bir biçimde incelemek çalışmanın temel amacıdır.

Abstract
Kant and Levinas deserve serious analysis when the ethical views of both philosophers are concerned. In this study, it is aimed to critically examine the views of Critchley, who brought up such an effort in a unique context, and to open it up for discussion on a rich philosophical ground. Known for his studies on ethics, Critchley speaks of an ethical experience that starts with the approval of the relevant moral demand and points to the tension of the subject, whether the cause of action is one's own faculties, as in Kant's philosophy, or an external force, as in Levinas's views. The main purpose of the study is to introduce and critically analyze these claims of Critchley, who claims that similar forms of this view are also found in related philosophers.
