Abstract

Bu çalışmanın
amacı, İkinci Dünya Savaşı’nın yaşandığı yıllarda dünyanın savaş sonrasında
nasıl bir görünüm içinde olacağı üzerine yapılan yorumlar arasında farklı bir
yere sahip olan James Burnham’ın görüşlerini incelemek ve günümüzdeki
yansımalarını dünya ve özellikle Türkiye bağlamında tartışmaktır. Bu çerçevede
öncelikle Burnham’ın Yönetimsel Devrim: Dünyada Neler Oluyor? (The Managerial
Revolution What is Happening in the World?) başlıklı eseri incelenmiş ve mevcut
durumun kurama uygunluğu ele alınmıştır.

Abstract


 

This study aims to analyse
James Burnham’s views about how the world would be shaped after Second World
War which has a special interest of area, and how his views could be reflected
to current situation in the world and especially in Turkey. In this context, Burnham’s book
titled, “The Managerial Revolution: What is Happening in the World?” was
examined and his theory was compared with current conjuncture in the world.
