İnanç ya da Dünya Görüşü Biçimleri ile İntihara Yönelik Tutum, Depresyon ve Yaşam Doyumu Arasındaki İlişkiler

Abstract

Bu çalışmada inanç ya da dünya görüşü biçimleri ile intihara yönelik tutum, depresyon ve yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. 285 üniversite öğrencisinin katıldığı çalışmada veri toplama araçları olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, İnanç veya Dünya Görüşü Biçimleri Ölçeği, Gerilimli İnanç Ölçeği, İntihar Düşünceleri Soru Formu, Beck Depresyon Ölçeği ve Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular intiharın kabul edilebilirliği ile kesin inanç arasında negatif, esnek inanç ve gerilimli inanç arasında pozitif ilişki olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. İntiharın kabul edilebilirliği depresyon ile pozitif, yaşam doyumu ile negatif ilişki göstermiştir. Depresyon ile hem kesin hem de esnek inanç arasında anlamlı ilişki saptanmazken, gerilimli inanç ile depresyon arasında pozitif ilişki bulunmuştur. Yaşam doyumu ile gerilimli inanç arasında negatif, kesin inanç arasında ise pozitif ilişki elde edilmiş, buna karşın esnek inanç ile yaşam doyumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki elde edilmemiştir.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada inanç ya da dünya görüşü biçimleri ile intihara yönelik tutum, depresyon ve yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. 285 üniversite öğrencisinin katıldığı çalışmada veri toplama araçları olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, İnanç veya Dünya Görüşü Biçimleri Ölçeği, Gerilimli İnanç Ölçeği, İntihar Düşünceleri Soru Formu, Beck Depresyon Ölçeği ve Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular intiharın kabul edilebilirliği ile kesin inanç arasında negatif, esnek inanç ve gerilimli inanç arasında pozitif ilişki olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. İntiharın kabul edilebilirliği depresyon ile pozitif, yaşam doyumu ile negatif ilişki göstermiştir. Depresyon ile hem kesin hem de esnek inanç arasında anlamlı ilişki saptanmazken, gerilimli inanç ile depresyon arasında pozitif ilişki bulunmuştur. Yaşam doyumu ile gerilimli inanç arasında negatif, kesin inanç arasında ise pozitif ilişki elde edilmiş, buna karşın esnek inanç ile yaşam doyumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki elde edilmemiştir.
