Abstract

Translation makes use of philosophical discourses on the way from the analysis of the source text to the formation of the target text. However, examining the relationship between translation and philosophy and calling this relationship "philosophy of translation" is strikingly new. In the study, the development of the relationship between translation and philosophy is described in general. As a matter of fact, it has been noted that the relationship between translation and philosophy converges especially on the ambiguity of the words. For this reason, the distrust of language and words, which is one of the most significant points where the relationship between translation and philosophy intersect, is the main starting point in this study in terms of problematizing the translation philosophy. In this direction, Jacques Derrida’s discussion on translation as a philosophical matter will be analyzed through the example of “pharmakon” by Western philosophy. From the Eastern philosophical angle, inferences will be made based on the semantic distrust put forward by Zhuangzi (莊子 269- 386 BC), who is one of the leading philosophers of ancient Chinese Daoism (Taoism-道).

Çeviri ve Felsefe Meselesinin Derrida ve Zhuangzi Örneği Üzerinden Yeniden Yorumlanması

Abstract

Doğu felsefesinden ise Antik Çin felsefesi olan Daoizm’in (Taoizm-道) önde gelen filozoflarından Zhuangzi (莊子 MÖ 269- 386) tarafından ortaya atılan semantik güvensizlik üzerinden çıkarımlar yapılmıştır.
