Two Hilyes Prepared Differently and Whose Author is Unknown

Hilye is a literary genre which has been investigated until today very much and we can define it as a portrait of primarily the prophet Mohammed and other prophets, four caliphs, Hasan and Hussein, ten companions heralded with Heaven, leaders of religious and cult. In these investigations, it has been concentrated on hilyes in the form of poem and meanwhile, hilyes in the form of plate is sometimes exhibited for interested ones. There is less information about hilyes in the form of prose and prose-poem. Therefore, in this work it is informed about hilyes in prose and some texts which is form of the prose and have meanwhile pieces of poetry belonging to other poets and two of them have been added with their transcriptional texts to be example at the end of the work. It is taken attention that these two examples have some characteristics which distinguish themselves from other hilyes in prose and poem because they were prepared in a way that reminds of hilyes in the plate. In addition,because hilyes we have examined here are predominantly hilyes of four caliphs and prophets, there is information about this type of hilyes in this work.

Başta Hz. Muhammed olmak üzere diğer peygamberlerin, dört halifenin, Hz. Hasan ile Hüseyin’in, aşere-i mübeşşerenin, bazı din ve tarikat büyüklerinin portresi, şeklinde kısaca tanımlayabileceğimiz hilye, bugüne kadar üzerinde pek çok çalışmanın yapıldığı edebî bir türdür. Söz konusu çalışmalar manzum hilyeler üzerine yoğunlaşmış olup levha hilyeler de zaman zaman düzenlenen sergilerle ilgililerin beğenisine sunulmaktadır. Mensur ya da mensur-manzum hazırlanan hilyelerle ilgili bilinenlerse daha azdır. Bu sebeple elinizdeki makalede mensur hilyeler ve mensur olarak kaleme alınmış ancak içerisinde başka şairlere ait manzum parçaların da yer aldığı bazı metinler hakkında bilgi verilmiş ve bu hilyelerden örnek olması açısından iki tanesinin transkripsiyonlu metni çalışmanın sonuna eklenmiştir. Bu iki örneğin aynı zamanda levha hilyeleri anımsatacak şeklide hazırlanmış olmasının onları diğer manzum ve mensur hilyelerden ayıran bir özellik olduğuna dikkat çekilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmamıza konu olan hilyeler ağırlıklı olarak dört halife ve peygamberler hilyesi olduğu için çalışma içerisinde bu tür hilyeler hakkında bilgiler de bulunmaktadır.
