EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN PROFİLLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ -AMASYA ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to determine the profile of the students of The Faculty of Education. With this aim, the review of literature on the subject has been concluded and a poll which include 4 sections has been applied to 300 randomly selected students from Education Faculty of Amasya University in the academic year of 2008-2009. These sections are consist of titles: "Personal Characteristics", "Opinions About Their Department”, “Attitudes About Education and Personal Development” and “Attitudes Towards Profession of Teaching”.

In the result of analysis personal characteristics of students’ in Amasya University education faculty were analyzed. It is revealed that %72,2 of the students did not indicate their department in their first three choices, %58,4 of the students are not satisfied with the education which they get, %48,1 of the students want to get a master education, %48,1 of the students chose education faculty because they like being a teacher and also %74,9 of the students are not pleased to that teachers are appointed with KPSS.
