Although there are similar social institutions almost in all societies, there are considerable differences between their levels of welfare. The most important reason of why one differs from another is because of their degree of sociation. Because development and welfare requires that interdependence between components, forming the society should be strengthened. The increasing interdependence widens both the of production agents and the speet of its circulation. Thus, what North and Thomas points out, saying “effective organizations are the keys of the growth” is absolutely a right statement. However, tendency to the concept of ‘being the Other’ is the greatest barrier, for it causes the difficulties in the establishment of effective organizations. The primary reason leading to the problem of sociation in Turkey. İs the tendency to the concept of ‘being the other’, stemming from sectarianism and variations of ethnical and political views.
