Öz
Ashburnham Pentateuch hiç şüphesiz Hıristiyan el yazmalarında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Eski Ahit metinlerinin Hıristiyan el yazmalarındaki yerini anlamamızda bize önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Özellikle Yaratılış, İbrahim, Yakup, Yusuf ve Kardeşleri ve Musa’nın hikayeleri hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler vermektedir. Çalışma kapsamında bu el yazmasının ikonografik özellikleri, üslubu ve kökenleri hakkında bilgiler sunularak, diğer el yazmalarında, katakomblarda, mozaiklerde, heykellerde ve duvar resimlerindeki benzerlikleri tartışılmıştır.

Öz
Undoubtedly, Ashburnham Pentateuch has an important place in Christian manuscripts. It offers us significant information understanding of place in Christian manuscripts of the Old Testament text. Especially, it gives detailed knowledge about the story of Moses and Genesis, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph and his brothers. Scope of work, other hand in writing, in the catacombs, mosaics, the similarities between sculpture and murals were discussed, presented information about the styles and origins, features of this manuscript iconographic.
