ABDULRAZAK GURNAH’NIN “DESERTION” ADLI ROMANININ POSTKOLONYAL OKUMASI

Abstract

Sömürgecilik tarihi ve farklı coğrafyalarda sömürgecilik sonrası beliren siyasal ve kültürel oluşumlar belli çağdaş edebi ve eleştirel yaklaşımların ortaya çıkmasına doğrudan etkisini bırakmış tarihsel olgulardır. Özellikle Afrika, Asya ve Karayipler coğrafyasında yetişmiş olan postkolonyal yazarlar, postkolonyal edebiyatın sıkça ilgilendiği kimlik, arada kalmışlık ve sömürgecilik döneminin mirası gibi temaları eserlerinin ana unsurları olarak kullanmışlardır. Postkolonyal dönemin önde gelen isimlerinden Abdulrazak Gurnah Desertion adlı eseriyle benzer konuları kurgusal boyutta değerlendirmiştir.
