Hâkî'nin Manzum Kırk Hadis'i

The hadith attributed to the Prophet of Islam (sas) “Anyone from my ummah who memorizes forty hadiths related to religion, Allah will resurrect him among the scholars” is accepted weak by the scholars. The poets of the Turkish Islamic literature attach particular importance to the compilations of forty hadiths in order to get to rewards mentioned in the hadiths like the above. In this article, the poetic translation of the forty hadiths compilation written by unidentified poet who has the pseudonym of Hâkî will be evaluated. In addition to this evaluation, the text of the compilation will be given

Hz. Peygamber’e nisbet edilen ancak muhaddislerin zayıf kabul ettikleri “Ümmetimden dinle ilgili kırk hadis ezberleyen kimseyi Allah kıyamet gününde fakih ve âlim olarak haşreder.”  vb. bazı hadislerde belirtilen mükâfatlara ulaşmak arzusuyla kaleme alınan kırk hadis derlemeleri,  Türk İslam edebiyatı şairlerinin de en çok önem verdikleri dinî türlerden biridir. 

Bu makalede kimliği hakkında bilgi bulunmayan Hâkî mahlaslı bir şairin manzum kırk hadis tercümesi değerlendirelecek, ardından eserin metnine yer verilecektir.
