II. MEŞRUTİYET DÖNEMİ'NİN MESELELERİNİ YAKIN MARKAJA ALAN TAKİP VE TENKİT

Takip ve Tenkit which was published by Nüzhet Sabit Who was an important name in press life of 2nd Constitutional Period and which is the topic of this study was published as being total four issues in every fifteen days between 19 March 1914 and 30 April 1914. The aim of this study is to introduce Takip ve Tenkit, to follow the world of idea of Nüzhet Sabit Who was owner and director of the magazine. To this end, firstly informations about Nüzhet Sabit’s life and journalism (magazine publishing) in 2nd Constitutional Period were given with the thought that it is useful at the point that related to the aim of publishing the magazine. In the study proceeding in two routes,at first shape and content features of the magazine were given, by then an assessment was made about Nüzhet Sabit and his world of idea based on the selected texts. To the only four issues were published, when looked the texts in Takip ve Tenkit in the point of their topics, it was seen that it is a magazine which reflects social, economic and scientific matters of the period as it was stated on the cover. On the other hand, concluded that Nüzhet Sabit was a sensitive intellectual who criticized happening events in his living period and didnt spare his suggestions, to know Takip ve Tenkit is necessary to understand Nüzhet Sabit.

II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nin basın yayın hayatında önemli bir isim olan Nüzhet Sabit’in yayımladığı ve bu çalışmanın konusu olan Takip ve Tenkit, 19 Mart 1914-30 Nisan 1914 tarihleri arasında toplam dört sayı olmak üzere on beş günde bir çıkarılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Takip ve Tenkit’i tanıtmak, derginin sahibi ve müdürü olan Nüzhet Sabit’in düşünce dünyasının izini sürmektir. Bu amaçla önce derginin çıkarılış hedefi ile bağlantısı noktasında faydalı olacağı düşüncesiyle Nüzhet Sabit’in hayatı ve II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi dergiciliğine dair bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İki rotada ilerleyen çalışmada, ilk önce derginin şekil ve muhteva özelliklerine yer verilmiş, daha sonra seçilmiş metinlerden yola çıkılarak Nüzhet Sabit ve onun düşünce dünyası üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Dört sayı çıkarılmış olmasına rağmen Takip Tenkit’teki yazılara konuları itibariyle bakıldığında, kapağında da belirtildiği gibi döneminin sosyal, ekonomik ve ilmi meselelerini yansıtan bir dergi olduğu görülmüştür. Diğer taraftan Nüzhet Sabit’in devrinde cereyan eden olaylara ilişkin eleştiriler yönelten ve önerilerini esirgemeyen, toplum meselelerine duyarlı bir aydın olduğu, Nüzhet Sabit’i anlamak için Takip ve Tenkit’i tanımanın gerekli olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır.
