OLUMLU SOSYAL DAVRANIŞLAR İLE ÖZERKLİK DESTEĞİ VE PSİKOLOJİK KONTROL ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLER

Öz

Bu araştırmada özerkliği destekleyen ve engelleyen ebeveynlik uygulamala-rı olan, sırasıyla, gencin anneden ve babadan algıladığı özerklik desteğinin, anne-baba psikolojik kontrol ebeveynlik uygulamalarının ve temel psikolojik ihtiyaçla-rın tatmininin içsel ve dışsal yolla harekete geçen olumlu sosyal davranışlarla iliş-kisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmaya yaşları 19-31 arasında değişen (Ort. = 21.90, S = 1.71), toplam 379 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır (193 kadın ve 186 erkek). Araştır-mada Psikolojik Kontrol Ölçeği, Özerk İradeyi Destekleme Ölçeği, Psikolojik İhtiyaçların Tatmini Ölçeği ve Olumlu Sosyal Davranış Eğilimi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda temel psikolojik ihtiyaçların olumlu sosyal davranışların içselleştirilmesine katkıda bulunduğu; kadınların erkeklere oranla daha fazla içsel olarak motive olan olumlu sosyal davranış sergiledikleri gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca anneden algılanan özerklik desteği azaldıkça ve babadan algılanan psikolojik kontrol arttıkça dışsal olarak motive olma olumlu sosyal davranışların arttığı; kadınlara oranla erkeklerin dışsal olarak motive olan olumlu sosyal davranışları da-ha fazla sergiledikleri görülmüştür.
